Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Dealnopoly collects, why, and what you can do about it. It describes what this site actually does today rather than every feature it might have one day.

1. Who we are

Dealnopoly is operated by 447 Media LLC ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at [email protected]. We are the party responsible for the information described here.

2. Information you give us

When you request access to a walkthrough or other material, we ask for your name, email address, and phone number. You choose whether to provide them. If you do not, we cannot send you what you asked for.

If you become a customer, we also hold the account details needed to run the service, including your sign-in credentials. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash and cannot be read by us or recovered by anyone. If you contact support, we keep that correspondence.

Why we ask for a phone number

We ask for it so we can reach you about your request and, if you become a customer, about your account. We do not currently make marketing calls or send marketing text messages, and we will not begin doing so on the basis of a number given here. Automated calls and marketing texts require their own separate, clearly worded consent, and we would ask for that specifically rather than treat this as covering it. You can decline to give a number and still receive what you signed up for by email.

3. Information collected automatically

When you visit, we record:

• Your IP address and browser user agent.
• How you arrived: the referring website, the page you landed on, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed (commonly labeled utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content).
• What you did here: pages viewed, forms submitted, and, where a video is present, how much of it you watched.
• A random visitor identifier. This is not your name and is not sold or shared for advertising. It exists so activity within a browsing session can be connected together, and so activity from before you identified yourself can be attached to your record once you do.
• A checkout reference. If you buy, we generate a random reference and attach it to the link you follow to our payment provider, so a completed purchase can be matched to the right account. It contains no personal information, only a random string.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use two cookies, plus a first-party analytics script that uses your browser's local storage instead of a cookie. None of them are advertising cookies, and we run no third-party advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral-advertising trackers.

• PHPSESSID keeps your session while you are on the site. It is required for security protections such as cross-site request forgery tokens, and it is discarded when the session ends.
• dnp_theme remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance. It stores nothing else.
• Our analytics script assigns the random visitor identifier described in Section 3 using local storage rather than a cookie, so a visit can be connected to your later visits and matched to your account once you identify yourself. It does not track you across other websites and is not used to serve ads.

The two cookies are strictly necessary or preference cookies. Blocking cookies entirely will break sign-in and form submission, because both depend on the session cookie.

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser sends one. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing for that signal to switch off, but we would rather say so than stay silent.

5. Why we use it

• To send you the material you asked for and to respond to you.
• To provide, secure, bill for, and support the service if you become a customer.
• To understand which marketing works, measured in aggregate.
• To detect and limit abuse, including rate limiting sign-in attempts.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We may use your activity on this site to judge how likely you are to find the product useful, and to decide what we send you and when. This is an ordinary marketing judgment. It is not automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and no automated process here decides whether you can buy, what you pay, or whether you keep your account.

If you are in the UK or EU

Our lawful bases are: consent for marketing messages, which you can withdraw at any time; contract for everything needed to provide a service you have bought; legitimate interests for security, abuse prevention, and understanding which marketing works; and legal obligation for tax and accounting records.

6. Marketing messages and how to stop them

If you give us your email address we may send you marketing about Dealnopoly. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and using it stops marketing email promptly. You can also simply reply, or write to [email protected], and ask us to stop.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop messages we must send about an account you hold, such as a receipt, a password reset, or notice of a change to these terms. Those are not marketing and there is no opt-out while the account exists.

7. Third parties that see your data

We keep this list short deliberately. Currently:

• Cloudflare sits in front of this site as a security and delivery layer, so it processes every request, including your IP address.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used here. Loading any page requests those files from Google, which necessarily discloses your IP address to Google.
• A video host serves any embedded video. Where we use YouTube we use its no-cookie domain, which reduces but does not eliminate tracking by that provider.
• Our hosting provider operates the servers this site runs on.
• Our analytics script, served from drkpixel.com, processes your IP address and browsing activity on this site to build the visitor analytics described above. It is built for and controlled by us even though it loads from a separate domain; it does not sell data and does not serve ads.

As the service grows we expect to add an email delivery provider, a payment processor, and e-commerce platform integrations. This policy will be updated before any of them begins handling your data, not afterwards.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not give it to third parties for their own marketing.

We will disclose information where the law requires it, to respond to lawful requests, to enforce our terms, and to protect our rights, safety, or property. If the business is ever sold or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction, and this policy travels with it.

8. Where your data is held

Our servers are in the United States, and the third parties above may process data in the United States and elsewhere. If you are outside the United States, using this site means your information is transferred to and stored in a country whose data protection laws may differ from your own.

9. How long we keep it

Contact records are kept while they are useful to the relationship and for as long as legal, tax, and accounting rules require. Anonymous activity records are kept for analysis and are pruned periodically. Administrative request logs are short-lived. When a record is no longer needed we delete it or strip it of anything identifying.

10. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed and are never stored in a readable form. Administrative access is restricted, sign-in attempts are rate limited, and administrative interfaces sit behind their own authentication.

No system is perfectly secure and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and any regulator as the law requires, without unreasonable delay.

11. Your choices and rights

Write to [email protected] to:

• Know what we hold about you and where it came from.
• Get a copy of it in a portable form.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Delete it, except where we must keep something for a legal obligation.
• Object to or restrict how we use it, including opting out of marketing.

We will respond within a reasonable period and within any timeframe the law sets. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. We do not charge for a reasonable request. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask you to verify your identity first, which protects you rather than us.

If you are in the UK or EU you may also complain to your data protection authority. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

12. Links to other sites

This site links to services we do not operate. Following such a link takes you somewhere governed by that company's privacy policy, not this one. We are not responsible for their practices.

13. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes

When this policy changes we update the date shown at the top of this page. If a change is material we will make a reasonable effort to tell you directly rather than rely on a silent edit.
